This is really beautiful. What a miracle to knit with your womb--or better yet that a human being is being knit in your womb while you rest, eat, recoil at the sight of food. All that knitting goes on, no matter what you do!
This is one of the things I loved most about pregnancy--the sense that the miracle was inside of me and yet so totally other. I couldn't make it happen--it just was. I miss that feeling sometimes . . .
